Privacy Policy
MojoScale is an industrial monitoring service for gateways, devices, telemetry, alarms, and support workflows. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how users can manage or delete their account.

Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect precise GPS location from the mobile app.
- We do not request contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health data, or Bluetooth access for the current mobile app release.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or sell personal information.
- The current mobile app does not scan local networks or directly connect to gateway local web pages.
How We Use Information
We use collected information for:
- account creation, login, email verification, and password reset;
- cloud dashboards for sites, gateways, devices, readings, alarms, trends, and history;
- push notifications for equipment alarms, offline devices, and other service alerts users choose to receive;
- remote metric/profile updates for gateways when authorized;
- asset sharing and access control between authorized users;
- support, troubleshooting, machine onboarding, profile improvement, and reliability monitoring;
- fraud prevention, abuse prevention, security, backups, debugging, and service operations.
Sharing and Service Providers
MojoScale does not sell personal data. We may use service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, object storage, MQTT/message delivery, push notification delivery, backups, email, security, and operational monitoring. These providers process information so MojoScale can provide the service.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data Security
We use HTTPS/TLS for app and web traffic where supported, access controls for account data, and operational safeguards such as authentication, permissions, backups, and monitoring. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information needed to run the service.
Retention
We keep account, asset, telemetry, alarm, support, and operational records while needed to provide MojoScale, maintain equipment history, troubleshoot problems, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period after deletion before being overwritten or purged.
Account Deletion and Your Choices
The MojoScale mobile app includes an account deletion control. Deleting an account disables/anonymizes the MojoScale account and removes the linked Firebase authentication account when the user confirms with a fresh login token.
If you cannot access the app, use our account deletion page or email contact@mojoscale.com from the account email address.
Deleting an account may not immediately remove records that must be retained for security, legal, backup, fraud prevention, or service-integrity reasons. We may also retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies a user.
Children
MojoScale is intended for industrial and business equipment monitoring. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International Use
MojoScale is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as MojoScale changes. If the changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the website, app, or account email.
